Subcontract

You may wish to consider working on an Interim basis as a Regulatory Consultant. This can be achieved through a number of means but the most common in the Pharmaceutical industry seems to be working as either a Limited company contractor or working through an Umbrella company.

There are a number of reasons why CK Regulatory are one of the best companies to work with for subcontractors the primary one being our level of candidate care, another our honest and candid approach but one of the major reasons for a number of people is the fact that we pay our Interims more promptly than most other agencies. We endeavor to turn around your invoices within 48 hours and do regular payment runs for our subcontractors at the beginning of every week. This means that unlike most agencies that will make you wait up to 30 days or more to receive payments, CK Regulatory make sure that you get your money as soon as possible.

Before choosing to work as an Interim though you should consider a number of things that include but are not limited to:

  • Are you truly providing a consultancy service
  • Does your contract cover what is to be achieved and not how it is to be achieved
  • Are you providing any of your own equipment
  • Do you have more than one customer that uses your services
  • Do you have the flexibility to determine your working hours and conditions

We suggest that you seek some professional advice from an accountant before pursuing your contract on this basis. If you are satisfied that you are eligible to work this way, CK Regulatory will go through all of your options for you. We will even give you FREE access to our self billing service to minimise your administration and paperwork.
